Videos

You can access various features in the Videos section of your ArvanCloud user panel. Here, you can see the uploaded videos categorized by each channel to manage, access the details, and delete files.

Upload Video

First, upload your files to use the Video Platform. You can then share it with our audience through the features of this service.

1st Step: Choose a Channel

You need to create a channel before uploading any videos. You can read the document on how to create a channel to learn more. If you have already created your channel, go to the Media section of your user panel and click on Videos.

The channel to which the video is uploaded is visible at the top of the page. If you want to upload your video to another channel, select it from the list.

You can create and edit channels here as well.

2nd Step: Upload Video

Click on the Upload File option on the Videos page of your account.

Choose your preferred method of upload.

Method 1: Direct Upload of the File

Browse and select your file from your local storage. You can also drag & drop it to upload it easier. The supported formats are m4v, mov, and mp4. Make sure to convert your videos to one of these formats before uploading them.

Method 2: Upload through URL

If the file is uploaded elsewhere and publicly accessible, you can use the URL to upload it.

Enter the URL and confirm to begin uploading.

Please note that the supported formats are m4v, mov, and mp4.

3rd Step: Final Configurations

You will see a new window that shows the upload’s progress. Here, you can do the final configurations and fill in the title and description of the files.

Output Mode

You can select the Automatic option so that your videos are loaded with three different qualities. Selecting the Profile option will open a new section from which you can choose the other created profiles in your account. To learn more about profiles and how to make them, read the Profile section of the documents.

If you choose the manual option, you can manually enter the preferred output for resolution, sound, and image bitrates.

Watermark

You can activate this option to have your watermark shown on your videos. To learn more about how to use watermarks and their configurations, read the document on Watermark. You can also determine where the watermark will be displayed on the video. If your profile has the watermark option activated, it will be added to your videos automatically.

Subtitles

You can activate this option to load subtitles of different languages for your videos during their playback.

Please note that the subtitle must be in srt format. You can edit your subtitles after uploading as well.

Parallel Convert

Activating this feature will increase the video output’s loading speed. Please note that activating this feature will add an extra charge to your account.

Choosing a Thumbnail from Video

You can enter the specific seconds of the video to have it selected as the thumbnail of your video. If you have already created a thumbnail photo in your profile, it will be automatically selected.

Please note that you need to convert the minutes to seconds to enter the correct time.

Once you are done, save the changes. The video’s access links will be available after the conversion time.

Manage Videos

You can access your uploaded videos through the Videos section of your ArvanCloud user panel. You can access the details of each file and edit and delete videos.

You can see the videos separated by channels.

Select any video to see the options of Play, Properties.

Edit Videos

You can only edit the title and descriptions of your uploaded videos.

Use the edit button at the bottom of each video or on the video page to edit them.

Delete Video

Click the Delete option at the bottom of each file name or video page.

Video URLs

Here, you can see and copy different video URLs, which include:

  • Iframe
  • Player web Link
  • Downloadable Video Source Link
  • Config URL
  • DASH
  • HLS

You can copy and use any of these URLs according to your need.
