Database Cluster Firewall
You can configure your cluster's firewall to enhance the security of data stored in your Arvancloud database. With the firewall, you can restrict access, allowing only specific applications or permitted IPs to connect to the cluster.
Configure Firewall
To manage cluster access, go to the Arvancloud user panel and select the "Managed Database" menu. Click on the desired cluster, then choose "Edit" in the firewall section under the "Overview" tab.
By default, there are no restrictions, and all internet IPs can connect to the database using a username and password. To limit access, specify only the IP addresses that should be able to connect to the cluster.
You can enter addresses as individual IPs in the w.x.y.z format or as groups and IP ranges, such as w.x.y.z/27.
Note: Once configured, only the IPs entered here will be able to connect to the database cluster.
When you set up the firewall on the cluster’s master node, these settings automatically apply to any standby nodes. However, for Read-Only nodes, the firewall must be configured separately. To do this, select the desired Read-Only node and adjust the firewall in the "Overview" tab.
