BYOIP

"Bring Your Own IP" helps you use your own IP range in the ArvanCloud Server infrastructure and create an instance with it. Using this feature, you can save on IP costs and remove number of IPs limits.

To activate this feature, consider the following terms and conditions:

  • The dedicated IP range must be of Unicast type.
  • The dedicated IP range must contain at least 256 IP addresses (/24 subnet).
  • Dedicated IP range should not be blacklisted by RIPE.
  • Following up and resolving abuse reports or other legal matters must be done by the user.

1st Step: Submit Request

To transfer your IP Range to ArvanCloud's infrastructure, enter the user panel of the Cloud Server and select "BYOIP" after selecting the desired data center.

On this page, write your personal information, including your name, company name, and contact details. Also, enter the IP subnet and write it if you need to provide more details. At the end, read the guide and click on "Submit Request".

Your request will be reviewed and contacted within 72 business hours.

2nd Step: Accept LOA

After the application is approved, an LOA needs to be signed between ArvanCLoud and you. This agreement will be sent to you via email.

An LOA is a legal document that specifies the terms of use of a dedicated IP range. In this document, it is mentioned that this IP range belongs to you and only ArvanCloud's Cloud Server infrastructure is used to advertise it. Also, you are responsible for following up and resolving abuse reports or other legal cases.

Below is a template of the LOA:

3rd Step: RIPE Settings

In the next step, you need to change your IP range settings in the RIPE panel. After entering the RIPE panel, select "RIPE Database" from the side menu.

In the menu that opens, click on "Create an Object" and then "Object Type".

Select "Route" from the options.

In the form that is displayed, enter the desired IP range in the Route section. Then, in the Origin field, write AS202468 that is ArvanCloud's AS Number.

At the end, click on Submit.

Final Step: Implementation in ArvanCloud

After applying the RIPE settings, the IP range settings will be implemented in the ArvanCloud infrastructure.

This process usually takes 48 hours.

After completing this process, you can view your IP range in the Private Network section of the ArvanCloud user panel and create an instance with it.

Note that if you have not created an instance with your own IP range and delete the private network created with this range in your user account, the service must be redefined for you.
