Domain

Applications deployed on the Arvan Cloud Container platform can be accessed via a domain. You can set up a free Arvancloud domain or your own custom domain for the app during and after the creation of an application.

Free Domain

In the Cloud Container menu, click on your desired application from the "Applications" section and go to the "Domain" section. On this page, select the Arvancloud free subdomain option and choose a preferred name for it.

The Arvan Cloud subdomain will include your chosen name and the project name as a suffix.

This domain will be available by default over the HTTPS protocol, and to use it, the application must be able to respond to HTTP requests received on port 80.

Custom Domain

By defining your domain for an application, you can connect to it with a fully customized domain. There are two main prerequisites for this:

  • Your DNS records must be managed by Arvancloud's CDN.
  • Arvancloud's CDN must be active for the domain/subdomain you want to use to access your application.

In the Cloud Container menu, click on your desired application from the "Applications" section and go to the "Domain" section. On this page, select the "Custom Domain" option.

In the domain field, select your desired domain. If you have not yet registered a domain in Arvancloud's CDN, you can do so by clicking on the "Add New Domain" button or by following the Domain Registration Guide to define it in the CDN.

Additionally, if you need the application to be accessible on a subdomain of this domain, activate the "Subdomain" option and choose it. By clicking on the "Add New Subdomain" button, you can define a subdomain on the same page.

If you need to use Wildcard DNS or use * for all subdomains, you can contact Arvancloud's support via ticket.

By applying these settings, an ANAME/CNAME record with the value default-gateway.ir-thr-ba1.arvancaas.ir will be created in the CDN panel for your domain/subdomain.
