Public IP

To create access to the application over the internet, you can use the Arvan Cloud Container Public IP feature. By default, applications created on the Kubernetes platform are not accessible via the internet. However, with the help of the Kubernetes Load Balancer feature, you can obtain an IP for external access to your application. The load balancer's function is to receive traffic and distribute it among the pods of an application.

Add a Public IP

To obtain a Public IP, first click on your desired application, then in the "Public IP" section, click on the "New IP".

Next, specify the details of the port you want to connect to the IP.

In this section, you need to enter a preferred name for the port, the port values, and the target port, which correspond to port and targetPort in the Kubernetes service, respectively, along with the protocol. For more details, you can refer to the Private Network Guide.

Note that this protocol cannot be edited in the future. To change it, you must first delete the current IP and create a new one.

After adding the IP, you can always manage the ports connected to it in the "Public IP" section.

Remove a Public IP

By clicking on the delete option next to the Public IP address, you can remove it.

Note that by removing an IP, all settings related to it will also be removed from the application, and it will not be possible to reassign the same IP to the application.
