Cloud Dedicated Server

With the "Cloud Dedicated Server" from ArvanCloud, you can set up your instances on physical servers and dedicated hardware. This feature is helpful if you need one or more dedicated servers with no resource sharing with other users.

Arvancloud's dedicated servers are provided as cloud servers and differ from Bare Metal servers; this means that virtualization software is pre-installed on physical servers.

Server Allocation

After logging into the cloud server user panel and navigating to the "Dedicated Server" section, click the "Allocate Server" button.

On the new page, select the specifications for your dedicated server.

  • Server Name

Enter a name for the server.

  • Server Cluster

For optimal management, you can place dedicated servers in different clusters, so that servers in a cluster have identical specifications and configurations.

By default, the default cluster is selected for dedicated servers, but you can select or create another cluster from this section.

  • Server Type

In this section, determine the duration, model, and resources of your server.

  • Number of Servers

Enter the number of servers you need in this section.

  • Automatic Host Recovery

By enabling this feature, in case of an error in the physical host, instances will automatically move to another physical host and restart.

Enabling this feature involves a 20% additional cost.

Note that this feature is not available for local storage instances.

Finally, by clicking the "Allocate Server" button, a summary of the settings will be displayed for final review.

Upon confirming the specifications and completing the payment, your dedicated cloud server will be created.

Server Management

The Cloud Dedicated Server page displays all the servers you have created so far.

Additionally, in the server list table, you can view each server's cluster, resources, creation date, and status. Furthermore, by selecting the "Server Details" option from the operations menu next to each server, you can review the exact specifications of each one.

Create an Instance

To create an instance on a dedicated server, click the button next to the server.

Then proceed to the instance creation process and select your desired settings for the instance. Instance Creation Guide will help you in this process.

Change Cluster

To move a dedicated server to another cluster, click on the operations option and select "Change Cluster."

Then select the new cluster and confirm it.

Edit Name

To change the name of a dedicated server, click on the operations option and select "Edit Name."

Then enter the new name and confirm it.

Manage Labels

To define or delete tags for a dedicated server, click on the operations option and select "Edit Labels."

Then enter your desired changes and confirm them.

Release a Server

If you no longer need your dedicated server and decide to delete it, click on the operations option and select "Release Server."

Note that only dedicated servers that are empty and do not have any instances can be deleted. Therefore, you must first transfer or delete the instances.

Then by confirming the process and clicking the "Release Server" button, the server will be removed from your account.

Since the cost of the dedicated server is deducted from your wallet during the allocation process and at the beginning, there is no refund after releasing the server.

Cluster Management

In the Cloud Dedicated Server menu, you can click the "Manage Clusters" button to view the created clusters or create a new cluster.

By clicking on each cluster, you can review the number, sockets, and total resources of the dedicated servers in it.

Create a Cluster

To create a new cluster, click the "New Cluster" button and select a name for it.

Note that you can create a maximum of 5 clusters.

Edit Name

By clicking the edit option, you can change the name of the server clusters.

Delete a Cluster

You can delete a cluster of servers by clicking the delete button and confirming the process.

Note that only clusters that are empty and do not have any dedicated servers can be deleted. Also, it is not possible to delete or rename the default cluster.
